In this series, we are looking at how to set our "true north" on our King and Creator and how we align our lives with Him.

In today's teaching, we focused on the sense of touch and the importance of touch as we look to model our lives after Christ. Pastor Jon gave a homework assignment for the week, 5 ways to reawaken our sense of who God is in our lives:

Re:Instate your hands to the Lord
Re:Engage your work as worship
Re:Associate with God's creation
Re:Connect your physical presence to others
Re:Align your calling as Christ's ambassadors

This week we have the opportunity to reacquaint ourselves with the power of the sense of touch to be a blessing to others.

In today's teaching, we focused on the sense of taste and the opportunity God gives us, to taste and see that the Lord is good. If you didn't see the message, we encourage you to watch it anytime on-demand here. Pastor Jon provided a challenge for this week as it relates to the idea of taste & how it plays into the metaphor of our Christian lives. 1. Cleanse your palate 2. Sample God’s goodness 3. Savor God’s faithfulness 4. Marinate in God’s promises 5. Discover your taste We pray this week you are able to taste and see the goodness of God in your life.

Pastor Jon Talbert continued our series with a powerful teaching on hearing and what the Bible says about how we are to hear. He spoke of God's purpose in hearing: that it is God's design, God's call to action, is part of God's declaration, and God's pathway towards redemption. Verses that were highlighted include: Acts 4:20, Psalms 66:16, Romans 10:17, and Ephesians 1:13.

Pastor Jon gave a challenge for the week to bring forth God's voice and direction into our daily lives:
1) Familiarize hearing God's word
2) Rescript false & faulty soundtracks
3) Fine-tune God's calling on your life
4) Protect from damaging sounds
5) Familiarize hearing God's voice

We encourage you spend time with the Lord meditating on the verses mentioned above. What is God drawing your eye to? Seek Him in prayer and ask Him to speak to you about what's on His heart for you.

In today's teaching, Pastor Jon Talbert concluded our series on how our senses offer us daily opportunities to not only connect with God but also to be put into action for Him. Today we focused on the sense of smell and how in God's word, smell is used as a reminder of redemption, reflection of character, representation of generosity, reference to worship, and revelation of the gospel. Verses that were highlighted include: Ephesians 5:2, Songs 1:2-3, Philippians 4:18, Romans 12:1, 2 Corinthians 2:14. What is God drawing your eye to in His word? Seek Him in prayer and ask Him to speak to you about what's on His heart for you.

The challenge Pastor Jon gave us for this week, is one of Spiritual Aromatherapy. To use scent this week as an opportunity to:
1) Make correlations to the divine
2) Serve as reminders of blessings
3) Prompts for soul care
4) Make connections with creation
5) Triggers to action God has placed you here, at this time, with a purpose for Him.

Our senses give us incredible opportunities to connect with Him, interact with Him, seek His will and step into action.
