This week, Pastor Bryan kicked off this series by talking about how God views marriage, how marriage is intended to mirror the framework of the gospel, and the importance of forgiveness.

This morning, Pastor Bryan spoke about two important truths. First and foremost, if we want a masterpiece of a home, we need a master architect. God is our architect and must be the centerpiece of our homes and our lives. Second, as the psalmist shows in Psalm 127, children are like arrows, meant to be drawn and released into a future we will not see, who need warriors to accomplish their God-ordained purpose. The arrow, our children, need Fathers who are present, will guide them, be in relationship with them, and aim them towards the future God intends for their lives.

In today’s teaching, Pastor Bryan concluded our series with a focus on Deuteronomy 6:4-9: "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates."
