Formation

This fall we will be looking at how to apply spiritual formation to our daily lives and actively pursue being with Jesus, becoming like Jesus and doing what Jesus did. The resources below are designed to help you dive as deep as you’d like into the topic from each week. For each week you’ll see 3 categories.

Engage

This is the level of participation we’re asking every person to take each week. It will involve a midweek teaching expanding on the Sunday sermon (will be available on the podcast or on this page each week), a scheduled discussion with others about the topic of the week and a commitment to a practical action step in pursuing a life formed by God.

Reach

For those who want to dive into further supplemental content and learning on the given topic, this level of participation is for you. It will involve excerpts from suggested books, video teachings from various recommended sources and additional in depth resources.

Stretch

This level of participation is for those wanting to actively engage in assisted spiritual formation tools. The recommended action steps will all be through the Practicing the Way platform and will require an account to participate. You can sign up for an account at launch.practicingtheway.org.
