“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” Deuteronomy 6:5-7

Upcoming Events

House of Hope Food Drive //

House of Hope is more than a food pantry. It is a ministry of Calvary that offers food, friendship, prayer, and encouragement to those facing difficult seasons. Summer is a critical time for House of Hope as donations tend to slow down. Calvary Church is working together to help restock our shelves with non-perishable food items to sustain our community until the holiday season.

For Calvary Kids families, this can be a wonderful opportunity to help your children practice the generosity of Jesus in a tangible way. You can use the list below on your next shopping trip and invite your kids to help choose items for House of Hope. As you work together, you can talk about how small acts of kindness can reflect the love of Jesus and make a difference in someone's life.

Opportunities to Serve

Sunday Mornings // monthly
Looking for a place to serve? Join us in making a lasting impact in our kids ministry! Our classrooms are where young hearts grow in faith, and you have the chance to be a part of that incredible journey. Whether you’re leading, helping with activities, or simply offering a helping hand, your presence will make a difference. And the best part? It’s just one Sunday a month. Together, we can encourage the next generation in their walks with Jesus!

July Update

A Note from the Preschool Coordinator

Hey, Calvary Kids families!

“Put God’s kingdom first.” Matthew 6:33 NIrV

This month in Calvary Kids, we are continuing to explore the quest for God’s Kingdom. Through the stories Jesus told, we’re learning what God’s Kingdom looks like and how we can help it grow.

As kids learn, they are being invited into a lifelong adventure of following Jesus. It’s not just about what happens on Sundays, but about learning to see God at work in everyday life and joining Him in it.

I’m looking forward to all the ways God will speak and shape hearts in Calvary Kids this month!

Blessings,
Amy Dresden
Preschool Coordinator

To encourage Calvary Kids to embody the core values of “Respect God, Respect Others, Respect Yourself,” we are excited to introduce the Calvary Kids Stamp Card! When a leader observes your child demonstrating respectful behavior towards God, others, or themselves, or when they actively participate, they will receive a stamp on their card. At pick-up, students can turn in their card to earn a prize from our prize box!
