“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” Deuteronomy 6:5-7

Looking for a place to serve? Join us in making a lasting impact in our kids ministry! Our classrooms are where young hearts grow in faith, and you have the chance to be a part of that incredible journey. Whether you’re leading, helping with activities, or simply offering a helping hand, your presence will make a difference. And the best part? It’s just one Sunday a month. Together, we can encourage the next generation in their walks with Jesus!

October Update
A Note from Our Elementary Director
Hey, Calvary Kids families!
“Then Jesus said, ‘Come to Me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let Me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.’” (Matthew 11:28-29)
I don’t know about you, but with everything happening in the world lately, my heart has felt heavy and sad. It’s not easy to help our children process their feelings when we’re also working through our own. But these verses in Matthew remind us that our heavenly Father not only loves us but also invites us to bring Him our burdens and receive His rest. This month, consider setting aside a few moments to pray with your children, giving those worries to God together and reminding them that He is always gentle and faithful to carry us.
Blessings,
Angela Perry
Elementary Director
